Tasks
\* Overall responsibility for the technical direction, planning, and execution of events, installations, and productions inhouse and for clients.
\* Development of technical concepts and strategies, ensuring feasibility, scalability, and high execution quality
\* Creation and supervision of technical concepts, lighting plots, rigging plans, and detailed CAD drawings (e.g. Vectorworks)
\* Ownership of lighting design, AV systems, and technical integration within different venues and environments
\* Planning and oversight of trussing systems, moving lights, LED lights, LED screens, lasers, automation and sound systems
\* Ensuring smooth integration of control systems and protocols (e.g. DMX, Art-Net, Dante)
\* Leading, managing, and developing technical teams, including resource planning, mentoring, and performance oversight
\* Acting as the main technical point of contact for internal teams, clients, venues, and external partners
\* Strategic coordination and management of subcontractors and technical departments
\* Oversight of on-site execution, including setup, operation, and dismantling
\* Ensuring compliance with legal regulations, safety standards, and risk management requirements

Requirements
\* Degree or vocational training in event technology, technical production, or a related field
\* 5+ years of experience in technical planning, production, and project management within live events, exhibitions, or installations
\* Strong technical expertise in lighting systems, AV systems, networking infrastructure, and power distribution
\* Advanced knowledge of lighting control protocols (DMX, Art-Net), media systems, moving lights, LED technology, and integration workflows
\* Proven experience in creating high-quality technical drawings and documentation (CAD, ideally Vectorworks)
\* Solid understanding of electrical planning, load calculations, and safe implementation of technical systems
\* Broad, cross-disciplinary technical knowledge (rigging, sound, projection, automation)
\* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide, structure, and motivate teams
\* Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
\* Fluent English skills (German is a plus, but not mandatory)
