Description

  • Create and maintain a target customer list. 
  • Approach and conduct meetings and presentations with target customers. 
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and technology leaders at various levels. 
  • Pursue RFQs, business opportunities, and purchase orders to drive profitable business. 
  • Coordinate internal efforts to support new customer acquisition and business development. 
  • Bring external expertise in product, technology, and market trends to enhance customer engagement. 
  • Understand complex rack/server/network interface card and high-speed I/O platform solutions. 
  • Develop and maintain close technical relationships with partners and customers regarding product roadmaps and technologies. Act as the primary business interface between the company and customers in Great China. 
  • Provide support in winning new business development in Great China. 
  • Participate in standards committees and industry groups as assigned. 
  • Prepare and present technical presentations to customers, industry groups, and trade shows, utilizing excellent customer presentation skills. 
  • Maintain awareness of current industry trends and future technology and market opportunities. 
  • Track industry trends and dependencies that impact sales and revenue. 
  • Identify and monitor competitor presence and developments in the assigned region. 
  • Explore business expansion opportunities and complementary third-party products and solutions.
  • Align product management with customer expectations to develop a strategic product roadmap. 
  • Prepare and present detailed reports, market insights, and forecasts to guide strategic decision-making. 
  • Share knowledge with colleagues to enhance competitive advantage. 
  • Interface and interact with large OEM/ODM customers. 
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of the current Great China data center market. 
  • Leverage extensive knowledge of system-level high speed, high power, cooling, mechanical, and engineering tradeoffs. 
  • Any other tasks assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in a similar industry is required. 
  • Prior participation in industry groups and associations is desirable. 
  • System-level integration, interoperability, and testing experience are desired. System-level manufacturing test experience is desired. 
  • Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Public Speaking, Research, Writing, Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism, CRM, and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelors' or Masters' degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology discipline preferred.

  • 5 years of experience in a similar industry

  • System-level integration, interoperability, and testing experience
  • System-level manufacturing test experience
