What we are looking for:

We are seeking a Team Lead, Front End Developer to join us as we form a new front end team. As the Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of developers to design, develop, and deploy robust and efficient React-based applications. In addition to being hands on, this role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in React development, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team and work on a variety of projects that push the boundaries of technology.Ā

What youā€™ll do:Ā 

  • Lead a team of React developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster their professional growth and developmentĀ 

  • Architect and design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance React-based web applications.Ā 

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and efficient React components and user interfacesĀ 

  • Implement front-end features and functionalities in alignment with project requirements and timelinesĀ 

  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and coding standardsĀ 

  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and consistencyĀ 

  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with backend services and data sourcesĀ 

  • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability by implementing caching strategies and performance monitoring toolsĀ 

  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in front-end developmentĀ 

  • Build reusable code and libraries for future useĀ 

  • Conduct UI TestingĀ 

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes, tools, and methodologiesĀ

Recommended Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the key responsibilities of the job.Ā 

  • Minimum of six (6) years of technical experience focused on front-end software development in React. Experience in React 18 is a plus, but open to experience with React 17.

  • Prior experience mentoring and coaching developers with a deep interest in operating as a people leader in your next roleĀ 

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologiesĀ 

  • Knowledge of serverless architecture and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformĀ 

  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating frontend applications with backend servicesĀ 

  • Understanding of software security principles and best practicesĀ 

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and KubernetesĀ 

  • Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities, is a plus but not required

Compensation Range: $140K - $160K
