What you’ll do:
- Manage client engagements from planning through completion, including projections, execution, staff direction, and delivery in accordance with firm and professional standards.
- Prepare and review individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns, and assist with tax planning and projections to address client needs.
- Build strong client relationships through client interviews, proactive communication, and timely, accurate, and professional responses to tax notices, planning matters, and other requests.
- Perform and review tax research and communicate with engagement leaders regarding open items and other significant matters.
- Support staff development through mentoring, training, retention, and team-building activities.
- Contribute to firm growth and culture through committee initiatives, marketing activities, relationship building, and development of a referral network.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, with CPA or CPA eligibility
- Four to six years of experience in public accounting preferred
- Exceptional communication and strong multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and accounting software packages
- Ability to work extended hours as necessary
