Your Role as Tax Manager
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the lead advisor for a portfolio of business and individual clients.
- Review complex tax returns, tax projections, and planning strategies.
- Oversee client engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and exceptional service.
- Mentor and develop Supervisors, Staff Accountants, and Interns.
- Meet with clients throughout the year to provide tax planning and consulting services.
- Analyze and respond to IRS and other tax authority notices.
- Assist with business development, networking, and cultivating referral relationships.
- Support firm initiatives, recruiting efforts, and team development.

Requirements
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation required
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with significant tax experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance and planning.
- Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing client engagements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing and developing accounting professionals.
- Business development and networking experience.
- Experience serving as the primary advisor for a client portfolio.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining exceptional client service.
Skills Required
