Tax Associate

Genesis is currently searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic Tax Associate. 

What You Will Do:

• Conduct research on various international tax matters, incl. case law.
• Track changes of tax laws, and regulations in countries where the company is represented to stay updated with relevant legislation changes.
• Contribute to the analysis of tax implications on business decisions.
• Aid in identifying and minimising tax risks.
• Assist in managing tax and compliance aspects within the Group.
• Help in developing tax structures for our international entities.
• Assist in preparing tax returns for various jurisdictions.
• Contribute to internal and external tax audits.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS or MA/MS degree in economics, business, or other related field.
• 2 year + of work experience in international tax (experience in the Big 4 or top-niche boutique consulting firms will be preferable).
• Strong desire to dive into and explore new countries' tax legislation.
• Strong research skills (i. a. using databases like IBFD, Tax Analyst, CCH Answer Connect, etc.).
• Basic understanding of international tax principles, familiarity with tax treaties, key tax concepts and acronyms such as OECD, BEPS, ATAD, and DAC.
• English proficiency (upper-intermediate, advanced), with strong communication skills – is a must.
• Practical experience with MS Excel.
• Tech-savvy, demonstrating openness and adaptability to new technologies.

Support for Ukraine

The Genesis for Ukraine Foundation was established in April 2022 in response to the full-scale invasion and the need to act systematically and for the long term.
