The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for planning, developing, managing and overseeing talent acquisition processes and strategies as well as the onboarding process for all new hires. The position is also responsible for overseeing the management of the temporary labor workforce. 

Responsibilities:

•    Manages the full spectrum of recruiting and selection activities in the most cost-effective means for all positions
•    Coordinates the posting of open positions through internal postings, internet, employment agencies, recruiters and affirmative action required agencies
•    Reviews resumes and screens candidates to ensure required qualifications are met
•    Coordinates and schedules interviews with the hiring manager
•    Manage and coordinate temporary labor workforce 
•    Identifies and partners with external providers, as required, to ensure hiring needs are met
•    Design, plan, and execute employer branding activities – in conjunction with Marketing coordinator
•    Plans procedures and processes for enhancing the overall candidate experience.
•    Administers required testing of potential candidates to include criminal background checks, drug screens, physicals and aptitude/skills testing
•    Coordinates and help conduct new employee orientation
•    Acts as the liaison to outside staffing agencies and universities
•    Represents the company at career fairs and other community events
•    Maintains applicant tracking in compliance with affirmative action regulations
•    Assist with monthly and annual reporting and compliance of the company’s Affirmative Action Plan
•    Processes employment verifications
•    Assists in organizing company’s special events
•    Maintain employment files and records per company policy and legal regulations
•    Maintain confidentiality of medical information, compensation and all other employee personal information
•    Understands compliance and proper interpretation of various state and federal regulations/laws
 

Qualifications:

•    Four-year degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in recruiting supporting a production/manufacturing facility.
•    Experience using HRIS/Talent Management software
•    Knowledge of Affirmative Action regulations
•    Proficient on Microsoft Office suite
•    Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks with minimum supervision
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•    Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
•    Ability to interact well with employees, candidates, vendors and co-workers, demonstrating flexibility as well as a “can-do” attitude when faced with challenging situations
 

Qualifications

•    Manufacturing experience, preferred
•    Proficient on Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
•    Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks with minimum supervision
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•    Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
•    Ability to interact well with employees, candidates, vendors and co-workers, demonstrating flexibility as well as a “can-do” attitude when faced with challenging situations
 

Skills Required

  • Four-year degree
  • At least 3 years of recruiting experience
  • Recruiting experience supporting a production or manufacturing facility
  • Experience using HRIS or talent management software
  • Knowledge of affirmative action regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision
