Title: Systems Software Programmer
Location: COLUMBIA, South Carolina
Duration: 12 months
Required Skills (Rank in Order Of Importance):
The successful candidate will have, at minimum, the following skills:
• Experience and expertise in software installation and implementation.
• Experience in configuration management.
• Experience and expertise in hardware and software testing; familiarity with testing methodologies and preparation of test plans.
• Experience and expertise to troubleshoot application and windows servers.
• Experience and expertise in isolation and diagnosis of hardware and software defects, including use of diagnostic tools such as monitors and traces.
• Proficiency in Java environments under Windows.
• Expert knowledge of databases and relational database concepts. Experience with SQL Server 2014/2016 required.
• Experience with Windows 7/8/10 operating systems and the Windows 2008/2012 server environments.
• Experience with Data Warehouse concepts, including techniques for handling very large databases.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with business users, management, vendors, and peers.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills. Ability to complete assignments on time.
• Understanding of deployment methodology concepts including design, build, testing, and deployment.
Preferred Skills (Rank In Order Of Importance):
• Experienced with requirements / environments of PCI, PUB1075, NIST.
• Experience with regulatory compliance management for a Data Warehouse environment.
• Experience with Wildfly a plus.
• Expertise with source code management – Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
