Job Description

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Modern Workspace

  • Working knowledge of Office365 Security and Compliance Centre 

  • Working knowledge of SPAM and threat prevention solutions 
    Training and educating end-users on O365 capabilities and collaboration tools (OneDrive, Teams, OneNote, Outlook, etc) 

  • PowerShell scripting 

  • Troubleshooting, Solving and following up of Level 1 and 2 incidents 

  • Endpoints management through Intune or other Mobile Device Management solution 

  • Operational security, maintenance, and governance 
    Perform software upgrades and patches (PC Software, Windows patch, firmware upgrades etc.) 

  • Troubleshoot various Office 365 issues including connectivity and mobility 

  • Ability to provide onsite support when needed 

  • Installing, configuring and maintain servers and networks 

  • Troubleshooting and configuration of Exchange Online and Active Directory 

  • Performance management and optimization 

  • Support anti-spam, web-filtering, network perimeter defense appliances and remote access solutions 

  • Manage and support storage and virtualization platforms 

  • Experience in Active Directory infrastructure, primary network services (TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, etc.), and networked-based applications such as Exchange, SQL, anti-malware, backup, and disaster recovery systems (BDR). 

  • Monitoring, managing, and troubleshooting of configuring LAN/WAN, CISCO/Fortinet/Netgear Switches/routers, Cisco/Fortinet firewalls, Cisco/RUCKUS wireless devices, SoHo Network Devices, and SDWAN devices. 

  • Remote IOS upgrade of network devices like Switches, Routers, Firewall and WLC. 

  • Good knowledge in Layer 2 & Layer 3 switching technology like VLAN, VTP Server/Client, STP, RSTP, MSTP, Rapid-PVST, Inter-Vlan routing, HSRP, VRRP, stacking switching & troubleshooting. 

  • Firewall Inside, Outside & DMZ zone and Security Level, Policy, rule management, security, High-Availability, Cluster, Failover, logs monitoring and troubleshooting. 

  • Operating System security rights, privileges, user and patch management as well as hardening techniques. 
     
  • Order, Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, Windows networks, file servers, Ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems; adds or upgrades and configures disk drives, printers, plotters, and related equipment.
     
  • Develop and conduct various training and instruction for system users on operating systems, relational databases, and other Microsoft applications; assist users in maximizing use of networks and computing systems


Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Position requires considerable decision-making capability. Ability to evaluate and act on a wide variety of technical situations.
  • Active Security Clearance.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in system administration, including server and help desk support
  • Must handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and work well with people.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science OR related field OR equivalent experience
  • MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) OR equivalent experience
  • CCP Certification


DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 (GCC HIGH) and Azure Government
  • Proven hands-on network engineering experience. 
  • Ability to travel at times and 24X7 availability
  • Experience with Business Continuity, Backup, and Disaster Recovery
  • Security+ OR equivalent experience
  • Manage and maintain VoIP phone systems
  • Experience with communications equipment and cabling
