Duties include but are not limited to
- Support the design, integration, and implementation of TARS systems architecture and components.
- Conduct systems-level analyses and participates in requirements gathering, definition, and traceability.
- Assist in the configuration, testing, and validation of software and hardware systems.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution efforts with technical teams and vendors.
- Maintain technical documentation including interface control documents, system diagrams, and configuration records.
- Provide engineering input for lifecycle management, upgrades, and system sustainment planning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, logistics, and operations functions to optimize system effectiveness.
Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Significant systems engineering experience in government or defense-related environment required, in lieu of degree. (2 years)
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the following:
- Familiarity with DoW or DHS technical environments, systems lifecycle processes, and configuration management.
- Experience with simulation systems, radar systems, or ISR platforms preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Positive adjudication from a CBP Background Investigation.
- Position requires some travel.
