We are seeking a highly motivated, Systems Application Engineer for our office preferably in Fremont, CA.

YOUR VALUE:

The successful professional will be responsible for comprehending and supporting technically complex motion systems used in high-end applications which demand nanometer measurement and positioning technology used by global players in the semiconductor markets. They will be responsible for supporting system integration and commissioning within new applications, training of customer technical staff on use and servicing, and the aftersales support of the systems at customer sites and will serve as the local technical expert in ETEL motion system products.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have a degree in engineering (electrical, mechatronic, physics, etc.)
  • You have a working knowledge of programming such as C, C#, C++, Python, etc.
  • You have 3-5 years of hands-on service and applications experience with motion systems, controls, or direct drive technology is required.
  • You are a customer-focused individual who has the willingness to become a technical expert in new products and applications.
  • You are a technically skilled individual who thrives in demanding and possesses excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • You are willing to travel 20-30% of the time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Provide primary technical expertise and knowledge of specific products to support both customer and marketing/sales needs.
  • Maintain the assigned product lines high performance level; keep current line specifications up to date; suggest product design improvements.
  • Provide end-user controls training in house and at customer locations.
  • Collaborate with other HC departments for anything related brand customers and markets.
  • Support, technically, field sales so they can successfully close a deal for the brand products.
