Position Overview
Dalcom Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support a team focused on mission-critical research, development, systems engineering, and modernization efforts for the U.S. Army.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support daily operational requirements of computer network systems, including workstations, file servers, and web servers.
- Install, configure, and upgrade hardware, software, network accounts, and security tools.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security measures such as firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
- Design, update, and manage web pages and local system documentation.
- Monitor system configuration, performance, and security, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Train staff on relevant software and provide technical assistance to users.
- Assist with the development and enforcement of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with Cyber WorkForce (CWF) directives and maintain required certifications as applicable.
Qualifications / Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. (Advanced degree preferred)
- 3+ years of professional experience in systems administration
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing large, multi-year programs or projects.
- Experience with DoD standards, compliance, and modular open systems approaches is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple technical priorities.
