We are searching for a senior system engineer for a medical device company with extensive experience in HW, FW and familiarity with analog signal processing.
The ideal candidate should possess vast experience in HW design and integration testing in the areas of HMI (Human Machine Interface), Health Care, or Medical Devices. The candidate should be a proven hands-on technology leader.
Responsibilities:
- Define and lead system architecture and implementation of new and existing medical devices, including sub-system definitions, from inception to deployment.
- Design early-stage prototypes, from proof of concept to new products, covering all disciplines.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities as part of the multidisciplinary R&D team, including HW design, software design, mechanics, medical regulatory activities, and engineering tasks.
- Reporting to VP R&D.
- Master the complete system architecture and serve as a technical authority.
- Lead resolution of complex technical issues
- Lead the development of HW and testing procedures
- Define product V&V documents and finalize reports.
- Lead the testing & certification process of the system (internal and external labs).
- Lead engineering and NPI processes
- Work with subcontractors on different engineering aspects, including HW design, Mechanical design and production engineering.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
- Solid background (academic degree or experience) in electronics and software design.
- At least 4 years of experience in system level activities for multidisciplinary devices, including the full life cycle of design, regulatory compliance and transfer to production.
- Proficiency in HW design tools (OrCad, Allegro, Altium, other) - a must
- Experience in a startup setting – an advantage
- Experience in a medical device company – an advantage
- Proficiency in SW programming – an advantage
- Proficiency in analog circuit design– an advantage
Skills Required
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
