Job Description
We are establishing an ongoing pool of qualified resources that could be contacted if and when a suitable contract opportunity is presented. Please note this is not a employment position.
You will be contacted if and when we receive a suitable contract opportunity. We anticipate that most contracts would be for the Canadian federal government and most of the work to be conducted in Ottawa.
QualificationsWe are looking for junior, intermediate and senior level system auditors.
The resource must have 5 (5=junior, 5-9=intermediate, 10+=senior) or more years experience performing many of the following tasks:
- Review organizational IT policy, standards and procedures and provide advice on their
- Conduct systems under development reviews by reviewing project documentation, conducting
- Conduct reviews of systems recently implemented and reporting on:
- benefits actually achieved versus projected benefits,
- features actually delivered versus stated requirements,
- the adequacy of controls and system security features,
- user satisfaction based on surveys or interviews,
- system performance and reliability.
- Review systems that have been in production status for some time and report on issues,
deficiencies, and shortcomings.
Most of the experience should have been obtained working with Canadian Government departments.
The resource should have a valid Government of Canada security clearance at a level of enhanced reliability or higher.
Fluency in english and french will be considered an asset.
Skills Required
- Minimum 5+ years experience performing IT/system audits and related review tasks
- Experience reviewing organizational IT policy, standards and procedures
- Experience conducting systems-under-development reviews (documentation review, interviews, compliance assessment)
- Experience conducting post-implementation/system reviews (benefits realized, feature delivery, controls/security, user satisfaction, performance)
- Experience working with Canadian Government departments
- Valid Government of Canada security clearance (enhanced reliability or higher)
- Fluency in English and French
