QualificationsMust have requirements
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Database Administrator, or similar role.
- Familiar with various operating systems and platforms including Debian Linux.
- Familiar with deployment/configuration/management solutions, e.g. SaltStack, Puppet or Chef.
- Familiar with virtualization tools (Docker).
- Database management (MySQL, column based databases).
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery ▪ Resourcefulness and problem-solving attitude
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
Nice to have requirements
- Knowledge and experience in the most common big data projects (Kafka, Redis, Hadoop, Druid, Elastic, ClickHouse etc.)
- Knowledge of the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- Ability to create scripts in Bash, PHP and Python, Perl or other scripting language(s)
- Experience with networks (WiFi, LAN, WAN) is a plus
- Professional certification is a plus
