Skills Required
- 5 years experience in quality, launches and supplier processes in the automotive industry
- 2 years SQA/SQE experience in automotive or aerospace and knowledge of multiple commodities
- 2 years APQP/PPAP experience, full documentation experience as a Quality Engineer
- 2 years manufacturing/quality engineering experience in automotive or aerospace, knowledge of multiple commodities
- 1 year experience with IATF 16949 and VDA including supplier audit training
- 1 year experience with ISO 14001
- Solid command of core quality tools: MSA, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, ANPQP, QPN
- Knowledge of customer-specific requirements and portals
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies (8D, 3X5W, Redex, DMAIC)
- Leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and self-directed work style
- Lean Manufacturing certification
