Studio Treasury Administrator
Blue Ant Media has an opportunity for a Studio Treasury Administrator with strong attention to detail to work within the company’s accounting department.
The successful candidate will be a person who can work independently and remain focused and organized in a fast-paced environment.
The Studio Treasury Administrator is responsible for the daily execution of treasury operations. This includes managing bank portals (both domestic and international), executing payments and transfers, performing cash positioning, and maintaining the accuracy of the company’s treasury reporting. You will serve as the primary liaison between the finance department and our banking partners for operational matters.
This new role will report to the Senior Manager, Treasury – Production, and is a hybrid position requiring in-office attendance at our head office in Toronto for a minimum of three (3) days per week.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 per year, with final compensation determined by experience and qualifications.
Core Responsibilities & Duties
- Cash Position Reporting: Consolidate bank balances across all production accounts on a regular basis to determine the "cash position" by currency and location and to ensure adequate funding for operational needs
- Payment Execution: Assist in initiation and verification of high-value wire transfers and ACH payments, ensuring strict adherence to internal security protocols and fraud prevention
- Bank Account Management: Manage the opening, closing, and maintenance of corporate bank accounts. Handle the "Know Your Customer" (KYC) documentation process
- Bank & Debt Reconciliation: Record and reconcile treasury-related transactions (interest, bank fees, debt payments, intercompany account transfers), including the preparation and/or review of monthly bank reconciliations for key corporate accounts
- Portal Administration: Act as the internal administrator for banking platforms—managing user access, security tokens, and permission levels
- Audit Support: Gather documentation for internal and external audits to ensure compliance with treasury policies and internal controls
- Cashflow management: Report to Senior Treasury Manager in compiling bank account status and weekly cashflow requirements
Other Responsibilities
- Assist in bank compliance reporting, including debt draws/repayments and covenant calculations
- Tax administration support, including filings with CRA, IRS and other international tax authorities
- Occasional processing of corporate POs
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, or banking operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in online banking portals (e.g., BMO, Santander, RBC) and intermediate Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to resolve problems and implement solutions
- Willingness to work effectively independently and as a strong team player, establishing cooperative working relationships
- Understanding of ability to read distribution agreements
Skills Required
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, or banking operations
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
