Responsibilities:
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and reporting packages while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Maintain statutory accounting records and perform local GAAP adjustments as required.
  • Support internal and external audits, acting as a key contact for assigned audit topics.
  • Assist with tax calculations, tax reporting activities, and audit requests.
  • Monitor regulatory, accounting, and tax changes impacting financial processes.
  • Execute month-end closing activities in line with Group reporting deadlines.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance Operations teams to support a smooth and timely close process.
  • Contribute to process optimization by enhancing controls, documentation, automation, and standardization initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to IFRS, internal policies, and local statutory requirements.

Requirements
Requirements:
  • 4-10 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, or a related finance function, preferably within an international or shared service environment.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, local GAAP regulations, and IFRS standards.
  • Proven experience in statutory reporting, audits, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  • Knowledge of taxation processes and financial compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Fluent German and confident English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage priorities effectively.
  • Proactive, quality-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
