Responsible for circuit design of Logic Library, IO Library, PHY, Memory, PMIC, Converters or other products.
The position also involves resource management, mentoring juniors, driving process improvements and staying updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
Lead project teams or a unit and may include section leading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Circuit design, analysis, verification of analog, digital and mixed signal circuits of Logic Library, IO Library, PHY, Memory, PMIC, Converters or other products based on the business or project needs.
- Develop library cells and custom cells based on customer requirements
- Create and develop testbench or setups for circuit analysis and verification.
- Drives and leads research and development of new circuits for an IP design or project.
- Resolve problems, determining system improvements and implementing change
- Drives and leads strategic plans, preparing and completing action plans within the team.
- Leads quality assurance checks to ensure that quality standards are met
- Leads and manages development of design projects
- Client, tasks and project management
- Leads creation of training materials, coaching and mentorship activities across project teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (LE, CHAR, DA, others) to drive issues and resolutions.
- Review output of junior members of the team to ensure quality of output
- Drives continuous process improvements to achieve reductions in development cycle time and improvements in performance
Educational Background/Qualifications:
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Applied Physics
With at least 8 years of digital and/or analog, mixed and/or digital design work experience.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken English
- Aggressive in learning, strong problem solving, decision-making and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a team operating across multiple sites
- Ability to plan and organize project activities
- Ability to lead teams and units.
Skills Required
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Applied Physics
- At least 8 years of digital and/or analog mixed-signal design experience
- Circuit design experience for Logic Library, IO Library, PHY, Memory, PMIC, Converters or similar products
- Experience developing library cells and custom cells based on customer requirements
- Ability to create and develop testbenches or setups for circuit analysis and verification
- Proven experience leading projects, managing resources, and mentoring junior engineers
- Excellent written and spoken English communication and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional and multi-site teams
- Ability to plan, organize project activities and drive continuous process improvements
