Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Analyze general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing relevant financial data and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with established internal controls, accounting policies, and U.S. GAAP
- Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with property managers and cross-functional teams to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial information.
- Support audit processes and work with external auditors as required.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and minimum 2 years of relevant experience; construction industry and Sage Intacct experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and collaboratively.
