HOW WE SHOW UP FOR CLIENTS
We're a boutique consultancy. Mass production is not in our DNA. Our clients are small and mid-market companies in growth mode, and they don't bring us in to add headcount. They bring us in to change what's possible for their team.
You'll work directly alongside client teams, not behind a ticket queue. Clients bring us in when something needs to change: a codebase that's slowing them down, a stack that's outgrown its purpose, a deadline that's at risk. You'll diagnose what's really going on, recommend a path forward, and help the team deliver on it. You'll approach unfamiliar systems with curiosity instead of complaint, and when the engagement ends, the team will be sharper than when you arrived, with better practices, cleaner architecture, and people who learned something because you were there.
Different clients, different tech. The constant is you: all in, straight about trade-offs, and doing the right thing even when nobody's reviewing the PR.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
- Design, build, test, and ship scalable software across the full lifecycle, from "what problem are we really solving?" to running in production.
- Work inside Agile client teams and translate fluently between engineers and business stakeholders. No jargon walls.
- Practice what we preach: version control, automated testing, and CI/CD as the default, not the aspiration.
- Build and deploy on modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and know when the boring option is the right one.
- Pick up new technologies fast and apply them where they earn their place.
- Mentor the engineers around you, ours and the client's, on architecture, design, and craft.
- Represent Leading EDJE in the room. Deliver high-quality work independently when that's what the moment calls for.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven, recent experience in full stack software development using current versions of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and enterprise languages (.NET, Java, Python, or TypeScript), along with strong database knowledge (SQL or related)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or strong on-prem background with automated deployments AND demonstrated cloud curiosity.
- Proficiency in Git and hands-on experience with automated CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins).
- Experience working in environments where infrastructure is managed as code (Terraform, Bicep/ARM, CloudFormation, or Helm).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments with an understanding of iterative development.
- Strong understanding of modern development practices AND DevOps principles, with hands-on experience writing automated unit tests.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines or writing integration tests is preferred
- Demonstrates an innovative approach and a willingness to integrate new tools and AI-driven methods to continuously refine development practices and client outcomes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a client-facing setting.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Consulting experience is preferred
