Sr. Sales Operations Specialist
As a Sr. Sales Operations Specialist at Honeywell, you will play a key role in enhancing and optimizing our sales operations within the Building Automation (BA) business group. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency, supporting sales teams, and ensuring seamless execution of sales processes to achieve business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient sales processes, accurate data management, and effective sales support to drive business growth and operational excellence. You will report directly to our Director Sales Excellence – BA META, and you’ll work out of our Egypt location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization by streamlining operations, providing insightful sales analytics, and enabling the sales team to focus on delivering exceptional customer value.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the sales team by managing and optimizing sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in sales operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address sales process gaps and implement solutions that enhance sales performance; as well as to ensure accurate sales data and reporting.
- Assist in the development and delivery of sales training programs to build capabilities within the sales organization.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales performance and operational metrics to leadership.
- Assist in Developing, deploying, and maintaining a common curriculum and inventory of sales processes and solutions that deliver best in class execution on the key areas of salesforce deployment, opportunity pipeline and account planning.
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide operational support to BA META Leaders including order forecasting and pipeline management.
- Provide pipeline updates and analyses, offering insights for reviews at regional, global, and executive levels.
- Assist in the implementation of sales tools and methodologies to enhance sales performance.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and processes. Including the development and implementation of tactics to improve win rates/accelerate sales cycle improvements.
- Participate in AOP development processes, lead Annual Sales Quota deployment.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 6+ years of transferrable experience in sales operations or sales support roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, data management & sales analytics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sales data effectively and provide actionable insights.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tools relevant to sales operations.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
- Experience working with sales performance metrics and sales enablement tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements.
