About the Role

XiFin's new Project Management Office is looking for an experienced Sr. Project Manager to lead complex technology and cross-functional initiatives from kickoff to close. Reporting to the Director, PMO, you will own a portfolio of projects spanning Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, driving planning, execution, and delivery while keeping stakeholders aligned and informed. This is an individual contributor role at the center of how XiFin gets cross-functional work done: you will manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and communications for each project you lead, and you will use AI-enabled tools to work more efficiently and keep your projects on track.

This position will be located at our offices in San Diego, CA.

How you will make an impact:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for: 

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead complex technology and cross-functional projects from intake through close, building project plans, timelines, and resourcing estimates
• Manage day-to-day execution across multiple concurrent projects, keeping work on track against scope, schedule, and budget
• Identify risks and dependencies early, and drive issues to resolution before they affect delivery

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Partner with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align on priorities, scope, and timelines
• Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and check-ins that keep cross-functional teams aligned and moving forward
• Serve as the primary point of contact for your projects, escalating decisions and trade-offs to the right stakeholders as needed

AI-Enabled Project Management

• Use AI-enabled tools to streamline project tracking, status reporting, and documentation
• Apply AI tools introduced by the PMO consistently across your projects, and share feedback that helps improve how the team uses them

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain clear, up-to-date project documentation, including charters, status reports, and meeting notes
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and PMO leadership using the PMO's standard reporting formats
• Capture lessons learned at the close of each project to inform how future projects are run

Skills and experience you have: 

You don’t need to check every box. We will consider a combination of education and experience, including:

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field
• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification preferred
• 5+ years of project management experience, including managing technology implementations, system integrations, or go-to-market launches
• Direct experience managing cross-functional projects involving stakeholders across multiple departments
• Experience using project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, or Microsoft Project) to plan and track work
• Experience using AI-enabled tools for reporting, documentation, or workflow automation
• Experience in healthcare technology or revenue cycle management preferred

Pay Transparency

At XiFin, we believe in pay transparency and fairness. The expected annual salary range for this role is: $128,000-$150,000. Typically, new hires will start closer to the entry point for the pay range. 
 
 Depending on your qualifications, you may be considered for either a Project Manager or Sr. Project Manager title. Final compensation will be determined during the selection process and may vary based on experience and skills.
