MCIM helps you manage and optimize the performance of your mission critical facilities.
The Role

About MCIM

MCIM – The Data Center Operating System (DCOS) is a platform that simplifies the complexities of managing a data center by bringing all functions and locations under one intuitive dashboard.

MCIM started with a commission from a Fortune 100 financial institution to create a cloud computing solution for managing their global critical facilities. The team developed the MCIM platform based on the lessons learned from that project.

Today, MCIM is utilized by Fortune 100 and 500 companies in over 94 countries worldwide. This world-class solution is continuously improved through collaboration with users and industry organizations like The Uptime Institute.

Senior Product Manager - MCIM Application

About the Role

As Senior Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the evolution of this platform and the company’s growth. You will define strategic capabilities, prioritize roadmap investments, and ensure we deliver high-impact solutions that improve reliability, operational efficiency, and measurable customer outcomes.

This is not a feature factory role. You are responsible for setting the direction that delights our customers and grows MCIM’s reach.

You will operate at the intersection of customer need, technical feasibility, and business impact, driving clarity, alignment, and execution across cross-functional teams. While MCIM is built on Salesforce and operates within a sophisticated SaaS ecosystem, success in this role depends on strong product management fundamentals: discovery, prioritization, Agile leadership, and outcome-driven thinking. Salesforce experience is valuable. Strong SaaS product management capability is essential.

We are building the operating system for mission-critical facilities. This role helps define what comes next.

What You’ll Do

Own Product Strategy & Outcomes

  • Define and drive product strategy for key areas of the MCIM platform. Align roadmap decisions with customer needs, company growth objectives, and measurable business outcomes.

Lead Customer Discovery & Voice of Customer

  • Engage deeply with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to uncover unmet needs. Translate real-world operational challenges into clear, validated product opportunities.

Prioritize with Discipline

  • Own backlog prioritization and roadmap sequencing. Make tradeoff decisions grounded in customer value, revenue impact, technical feasibility, and team capacity. Balance innovation with execution.

Drive Agile Execution

  • Partner closely with engineering in Agile ceremonies (design iterations, planning, refinement, sprint reviews, retros). Ensure requirements are clear, acceptance criteria are defined, and teams are set up to deliver with focus and predictability.

Be the Cross-Functional Connector

  • Serve as the central communication bridge across engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success. Ensure alignment on priorities, release timing, positioning, and adoption strategy.

Own the Full Product Lifecycle

  • From discovery to launch to iteration — you are accountable for the performance and adoption of what we ship. This includes defining success metrics and using data to continuously improve.

Support Go-to-Market & Adoption

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to define positioning, messaging, and enablement materials. Ensure customer success teams are equipped to drive adoption and measurable value realization.

What Great Looks Like

  • You think in outcomes, not features.
  • You can clearly articulate the “why” behind what we are building.
  • You make hard prioritization decisions and stand behind them.
  • You are comfortable operating in structured Agile environments.
  • You can move seamlessly between executive conversations and engineering detail.
  • You are comfortable in SaaS — recurring revenue, product adoption, usage metrics, and retention matter to you.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS product management.
  • Proven experience owning a roadmap and delivering products through the full lifecycle.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Salesforce-based platforms or AppExchange products is valuable but not required.
  • Experience with Agentic and AI product development is valuable but not required
  • Exposure to mission-critical operations, infrastructure management, EAM/CMMS/DCIM/ITSM environments is helpful but not mandatory.

Skills

  • Strong prioritization and decision-making capability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate customer pain points into clear product requirements.
  • Comfort interpreting usage data, financial metrics, and customer feedback to inform roadmap decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams on scalable SaaS solutions.
  • Experienced in working with design to iterate on mockups or visual mockups.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Salesforce certifications are welcome but not required.
