Job Title: Sr. Java Developer / Architect

Description:
· Designing and developing Mobile/Web applications that meet business needs and follow the best software development practices and standards.
· Develop and maintain Digital Reference Architecture
· Facilitate and lead discussions with cross-functional teams at multiple levels, across the business and Enterprise Systems to understand and influence the current business strategy and business processes.
· Staying up to date on the ever-changing technology industry to ensure developed solutions are following both internal and industry “best practices”. These solutions must also meet the needs of the business going forward.
· Perform gap analysis between current architecture(s) and proposed design concepts, identifying challenges and opportunities
· Capable of creating or reviewing/updating technical design and strategic documentation related to Digital Architecture.
· Qualifications
· Requires an BA/BS degree in related field or technical institute training; 7 or more years related experience; multi-platform experience, and expert level experience with business and technical applications; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
· Applicant’s experience should include 7+ years of Application Development/Architecture experience including portal and content management experience and experience in design and development of Web and Mobile applications
· Incumbent should also have the ability to mentor others, and provide troubleshooting support.
· Multi database and/or multi-language preferred.
· Experience in - OR exposure to - the following technologies is required: J2EE,Javascript, jQuery and AngularJS, ReactJS, HTML 5/CSS, Service Oriented Architecture (SOAP, REST, ESB),Mobile (ios/android) application development, Relational Databases Hadoop and Spark big data technologies Identity Management Web Portals and Content Management, Environment Configuration and Management, AWS Cloud services
· 3+ years in healthcare or related fields preferred
· 3+ years working within Agile & DevOps delivery frameworks preferred
· 5+ years in Java and/or API/microservice development preferred
· Experience with SAFe Agile Architecture Runways and deliverables a plus.
