Overview

The Senior Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between our healthcare technology solutions and various external systems. Works closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth and reliable integrations that meet business requirements. Provides mentorship and technical leadership to integration engineers.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain integrations between our products and external systems
  • Develop expertise in healthcare integration standards such as Flat files, XML, JSON etc
  • Database Design & Integration: Lead the logical and physical design of databases, including table creation, views, and complex stored procedures.
  • ETL & Data Pipelines: Build and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) environments using tools like SSIS, Integration engines.
  • Query Optimization: Debug and optimize high-frequency SQL queries and pipelines to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, and provide technical support to customers and partners
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations, including specifications, design documents, and APIs
Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Five years of experience in software engineering, with three years in integration engineering
  • Advanced SQL: Expert-level proficiency in T-SQL, PL/SQL, or AWS RedShift-SQL for query optimization and script creation.
  • Programming: Strong ability in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, .NET, Node.js) for custom scripting.
  • Cloud Architecture: Familiarity with cloud services like AWS (S3, Lambda) or Azure.
  • Data Formats: Deep understanding of CSV, JSON and XML for cross-system data mapping.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Expert-level proficiency in T-SQL, PL/SQL
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of healthcare domain and workflows, with experience in EHR, HIE, or PHR systems
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence
  • Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS

Skills Required
