6+ years of Strong systems background and and/or experience in all phases of at least one full life-cycle development engagement with Hyperion Financial Management
Experience in configuring HFM application components, including optimal hierarchy configuration, currency translation, intercompany eliminations, Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio reports, Smart View templates, and HFM Rules customization in line with business, functional and performance requirements
Support data conversion and interfacing activities, including user support to load and reconcile data
Data validation between the Hyperion Enterprise and HFM
Support during the parallels testing
Rules / calc scripts authoring.
Ability to articulate Intercompany Accounting and Currency Translation processes
Should be able to support clients through requirement gathering and process design, chart of account optimization, journal entry leading practices, and providing recommendations to enhance and accelerate the close-to-report process as the Financial Consolidation Lead
Skills Required
- 6+ years of strong systems background and/or experience completing at least one full lifecycle Hyperion Financial Management development engagement
- Experience configuring HFM application components, including hierarchies, currency translation, intercompany eliminations, Financial Reporting Studio reports, Smart View templates, and HFM rules
- Experience supporting data conversion and interfacing activities, including data loading and reconciliation
- Experience validating data between Hyperion Enterprise and HFM
- Experience supporting parallel testing
- Ability to author rules and calculation scripts
- Ability to explain intercompany accounting and currency translation processes
- Ability to support requirements gathering, process design, chart-of-accounts optimization, journal-entry leading practices, and close-to-report process improvement
