As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in both frontend and backend development.
You will own features end-to-end, from product requirements through backend logic, API design, and frontend UI, on our ML/AI-based IRONSCALES platform. Collaborate with UI/UX Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products while owning deployment and optimization of production code.
Furthermore, you will join our growing R&D team and be part of shaping how we build, not just what we build. Beyond delivering features, you will help evolve our development culture: improving our SDLC, integrating AI-assisted workflows and tooling, and building the kind of engineering environment where great software ships faster and with higher quality.
Core Responsibilities:

- Innovate and evolve IRONSCALES’ cutting-edge AI-powered Email security platform
- Build and own features end-to-end, backend and frontend, across the full lifecycle, design, code, tests, E2E tests, performance, and production
- Write beautiful and responsive frontend web SPAs
- Build and maintain high-performance, high-scale, low-latency, near-real-time systems
- Build cross-product microservices and libraries
- AI-first: if you only use AI because your manager told you to, this is not the right position for you
- Bar raiser: you deliver fast, you deliver quality and high standards, and you influence others to be better
- 8+ years of experience delivering production-ready backend systems and frontend web applications
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, and its core principles
- Experience writing production-ready backend microservices, preferably in Python/Rust
- You own your quality: experience writing unit tests and E2E tests, and integrating them into your AI workflow and CI pipelines
- High cadence: experience shipping incremental, high-quality changes at least once a day
- Experience driving technical design decisions for highly scalable systems
- Experience with databases, and knowing which one is best suited for a given use case
- Experience building cloud-based, multi-tenant SaaS systems in a fast-paced company
Skills Required
- 8+ years of Full Stack development using React and Python
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript
- Experience with React and modern data-fetching patterns
- Solid Python experience (Django or Litestar/FastAPI)
- async Python (asynchronous programming)
- Experience writing E2E tests and integrating them into CI pipelines (Playwright)
- Experience driving technical design decisions for highly scalable systems
- Experience developing database solutions (PostgreSQL/Cassandra)
- Operating services and infrastructure in Cloud environments (AWS)
- Experience with component-driven development
- High proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and DOM principles
- High proficiency with RESTful APIs
- Experience designing frontend software architecture
- Understanding of SOLID principles
- Ability to carry requirements from early phases to full implementation
- Good self-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
