Position: Sr. Executive – Key Account
Department: Key Account Management (Contract Logistics)
Location: Delhi
CTC: up to Rs. 35K (CTC)
Experience: Minimum 2 years (Logistics / Supply Chain industry mandatory)
Role Overview
The Sr. Executive – Key Account will be responsible for managing assigned key clients, ensuring seamless coordination between operations, warehouse, transport, and billing teams, and maintaining high service levels as per agreed SLAs. The role demands strong client-handling skills, operational understanding of logistics processes, and ownership of day-to-day account performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Key Account Management
- Act as the single point of contact for assigned key clients
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure service continuity
- Handle client escalations and resolve issues within defined TAT
2. Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, billing, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution
- Track daily operational performance against SLAs and KPIs
- Ensure timely dispatches, deliveries, and service commitments
3. Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and share daily / weekly / monthly MIS reports with clients and internal stakeholders
- Monitor volumes, productivity, billing accuracy, and service levels
- Highlight risks, delays, and improvement areas proactively
4. Billing & Documentation
- Ensure accurate billing as per agreed commercial terms
- Coordinate with finance team for invoice generation, client confirmations, and dispute resolution
- Maintain proper documentation and client approvals
5. Process Compliance & Improvement
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs and client-specific processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction
Key Skills & Competencies
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics / 3PL / warehousing / transportation
- Strong understanding of key account operations
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and email communication
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders
- Problem-solving and escalation-handling capability
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA / PG Diploma in Logistics will be an added advantage)
Skills Required
- Minimum 2 years experience in logistics / 3PL / warehousing / transportation
- Strong understanding of key account operations
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and email communication
- Ability to coordinate warehouse, transportation, billing, and operations teams
- Experience preparing and sharing daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports and monitoring KPIs
- Problem-solving and escalation-handling capability
- Graduate in any discipline
- MBA or PG Diploma in Logistics
