As part of IPRO’s Data and Analytics team, the Sr. Data Analyst will perform complex analyses using advanced technical knowledge as well as interpret and provide written summaries of analysis output. The Sr. Data Analyst will also be responsible for the identification and response to efficiency-promoting opportunities within the department. Duties to include but not limited to:
- Translate data analysis requests into actionable solutions.
- Design analytics (reports, dashboards, models) to respond to complex requests. Develop quantitative approaches (drawing on a range of methodologies) to address client needs.
- Conduct basic statistical analyses (e.g., creating standard normal distributions).
- Write reports with charts and graphs; present to internal and client leadership; and summarize findings and recommendations for technical/clinical and nontechnical/ nonclinical audiences, as appropriate.
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask and manage many simultaneous projects and last-minute emergencies to meet deadlines while still maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Support continuous quality improvement. Contribute regularly to improving data and analytics sophistication and efficiency within the department and across the IPRO enterprise.
- Produce all agreed upon deliverables on or ahead of schedule.
- Represent department leadership on customer and client calls for specific areas of subject matter expertise.
- Serve as resident expert on technology(ies); train and support department staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possesses a deep understanding of relational databases and their use characteristics.
- Ability to solve complex business problems and opportunities through the design and development of efficient, high-quality and customer-centric analytic solutions.
- Ability to distill complex technical content and issues into audience-specific and layperson-friendly terms.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Possesses stellar communications skills, both written and oral; able to produce effective written summaries outlining the results of complex analyses.
- Demonstrated mastery in the following toolsets: MS Excel.
- Intermediate proficiency in the following toolsets: MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
- Proficiency with Matillion, Tableau, MS Access strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with statistics and statistical models strongly preferred.
- Experience with building predictive models strongly preferred.
- Serve as a technical assistance resource to junior level peers
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of related experience, required OR
- Master’s degree and one (1) year of related experience, required
The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. The annualized salary range for this position is $75,000.00 – $85,000.00. Actual salary range and /or hourly rate depends on a variety of factors including experience, education, credentials, location, and budget.
The salary range and/or hourly rate listed does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
