Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 6 Month

 

Job Description:

NOTE: Plano and San Diego are the primary locations, but will consider Mountain View, Reno, Woodland Hills and Cambridge, MA 

Responsibilities: 

Primary responsibilities include: 

Provides end-user support for systems/processes within application domain. 

Makes configuration and call flow changes within the ININ System test configuration changes to ensure quality 

Facilitates cross functional meetings and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) when communicating/resolving for any of the above. 

Facilitates multiple tasks and interdependencies across systems and manages the associated changes without causing significant disruption. 

Partners with other technology teams across the organization to drive appropriate use of technology. 

Position Overview: 

The Business Analyst is responsible for configuring, testing and deploying changes to enterprise systems and applications across Intuit. Primary responsibilities include making configuration and call flow changes within the ININ system, testing these changes to ensure quality and providing support for the end user community. This position ensures systems, applications, processes and converted data have been tested according to the plans. Qualified candidates will view themselves as having an understanding of business and technical processes and communication skills, as well as an overwhelming desire for quality and attention to detail. 

Typical Deliverables: 

End User Support 

Configuration Changes in Test & Production Environment. 

System usage documentation 

System Gap analyses 

Test plans and test scripts 

Data migration testing and validation plans 

Testing defect identification and analysis 

Team/Leadership Skills 

Works effectively both independently and as a member of a team 

Partners with other technology teams across the organization to deliver high-quality systems and applications 

Influences business process changes within their scope of responsibility 

Communicates effectively to relevant levels of the business 

Communicates across boundaries with peers and other project members. 

Applies excellent interpersonal skills both in one-on-one situations with all levels of personnel 

Communicates effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Knows when to involve others and get help when needed. 

Provides clear, effective communication regarding process changes and their impacts on the business 

Technical/Functional Skills: 

Bachelor s degree or equivalent relevant experience 

Knowledge of ININ, Avaya and other call center applications 

Knowledge of customer contact processes and how they are supported by the technology 

Experience utilizing technology to complete business processes 

Advanced understanding of software testing theory and practices 

Basic understanding of business process principles, tools and techniques 

Basic understanding of systems development lifecycles 

Gets their tasks done. Produces high volumes of quality work. 

Handles multiple tasks, switches priorities and focuses as needed
