Job DescriptionOverview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with at least two years of experience in a service-based company. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, contributing to the delivery of exceptional solutions to our clients. #LIONSITE
Responsibilities:
Manual Testing:
- Execute and write comprehensive ,detailed test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects.
Bug Reporting and Tracking:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to report and track software defects.
- Provide clear and detailed bug reports with necessary documentation.
Effective Communications:
- Communicate effectively with team members, developers and stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings and provide valuable insights on testing progress.
API Testing (Postman):
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman.
- Validate API functionality and ensure seamless integration between software components.
Database Testing (MongoDB):
- Perform database testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Automation Testing (Selenium):
- Possess a foundational understanding of automation testing concepts using Selenium.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to automated testing efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Must have 3-4 years experience with the service-based company.
- Knowledge and experience in manual testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of API testing using tools like Postman.
- Experience with database testing, particularly using MongoDB.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Desire to learn and grow in the field of automation testing.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
- Exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
