SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT (APPS & AI) RESPONSIBILITIES 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT to join our Insight AI Business Unit.

We are seeking an experienced AI & Applications Solution Architect with a strong technical foundation and sharp business acumen. You will help organisations elevate their software strategies by embedding AI capabilities and modern app architectures into their products and platforms.

Key Responsibilities: 

• You will lead the review of client applications and their technology and product strategy.
• You will monitor emerging technologies, including AI, GenAI and machine learning trends, assessing their relevance and potential application within client solutions and strategies, and provide recommendations on adoption and integration opportunities.
• You will produce detailed reports providing guidance on enhancements, best practice, and risk mitigation. 
• Working directly with clients, you will interact with senior stakeholders to understand the business objectives and strategy; uncover and challenge technical requirements, technology approaches, methodology, security and tech stack decisions in line with business goals. 
• You will review and interpret architectural approach, infrastructure and data flows; assessing advising on best practice SDLC methodology and ways of working. 
• Investigation will include the review of architecture diagrams and technical documentation. 
• You will maintain effective internal relationships with sales, technical, product and delivery colleagues. 
• You will be confident in providing technical support during sales pitches and proposals and will help to identify and promote additional value add services. 

SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT (APPS & AI)

REQUIREMENTS 

• Experience defining and improving architecture and linking decisions to business objectives and technology strategy.
• Hands-on delivery of GenAI solutions (LLMs, prompt engineering, AI features).
• Experience building, deploying, and operating cloud solutions, including the operational impact of design choices.
• Ability to review client applications, architecture, documentation, data flows, technology stacks, and SDLC/Agile practices.
• Hands-on credibility across languages, APIs, data stores, and integration patterns sufficient to challenge technical decisions.
• Ability to identify and mitigate security, privacy, data, operational, and AI-specific risks.
• Experience engaging senior clients, challenging assumptions, and influencing technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to produce decision-ready architecture reports covering findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Experience supporting pitches and proposals, shaping credible solutions, and identifying additional client value.
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Eligible for frequent UK travel
