The RoleWe are looking for a Solutions Engineer to partner with our account executives and customers to unlock the power of StackAI's platform. This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and customer-facing execution—you'll be the go-to resource for demonstrating value, building workflows, and ensuring prospects and customers succeed with StackAI. The ideal candidate has startup experience, thrives in fast-paced environments, and has solved these challenges before helping customers understand emerging technology, separating good use cases from bad ones, and accelerating adoption through hands-on engagement.
We prefer candidates in New York City or San Francisco, but we are open to exceptional remote talent.
What You'll DoPartner closely with Account Executives to execute account strategies that expand ARR.
Own all pre-sales technical activities, including technical discovery, solution architecture, live demonstrations, and custom proof-of-concept builds.
Identify high-value enterprise use cases and design workflows to position StackAI’s Intelligence as a critical, strategic layer for the enterprise.
Package successful solution designs into structured, repeatable plays and demo assets to enable and scale the broader field engineering organization.
Navigate and influence complex enterprise organizations by translating deep technical AI capabilities into clear business value for C-suite sponsors, IT security gatekeepers, and PMO champions.
Run bootcamps and workshops for customers and prospects to deepen adoption and understanding.
Lead responses to RFPs and security assessments, articulating StackAI’s technical differentiation and platform architecture with precision.
Develop reusable workflow templates that can be shared across customer teams and back into our product library.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to feed real-world client signals back into our product roadmap.
2+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, or similar technical customer-facing role within a SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
Hands-on fluency with Large Language Models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini), prompt engineering, and their practical application to enterprise software workflows.
Proven capability to architect custom technical solutions or wire together APIs, prompts, and platform logic on the fly to address ambiguous client pain points.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills—you can simplify complex concepts for any audience.
Comfortable building in front of customers and running live demos/workshops
A problem-solver who enjoys collaborating with sales, product, and customers alike
Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
