As a Solution Architect at KINEXON you will lead the configuration and technical integration of the KINEXON systems in customer projects. This role is a combination of software expert and project manager in industrial environments. You will be responsible for conceptualizing the best technical solution for each customer, ensuring the seamless integration of the KINEXON system into the customer’s IT landscape. You will be part of a young and dynamic team working with modern tech stacks in an innovative environment with a broad variety of customers acting in different fields such as aerospace, automotive and logistics.
This role requires you to work from our Munich office at least one day per week.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead system implementation and configuration of our software to optimally support customer use cases
- Develop customer-specific Node-RED flows, dashboards, and customizations to meet unique customer requirements (using JavaScript/Python)
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customer IT, addressing questions regarding the operation (during business hours) and integration of third-party systems (e.g., ERP, MES, WMS systems, and databases)
- Organize and perform workshops and trainings for the customer
- Document all use cases on Confluence for efficient collaboration across different teams
- Utilize your experience and feedback from customer projects to collaborate with our product management and development teams to enhance our products continually
- Support our sales team regarding questions about implementation and feasibility and estimate efforts for the development of new SW-features
- Degree in (business) computer science, industrial engineering, or similar field
- Experience with programming (backend and/or web) and willingness to deepen it, preferably with hands-on experience in JavaScript (Node.js) and/or Python and git
- Experience in working with Linux
- Experience in connecting systems and creating interfaces between systems (APIs, HTTP, MQTT, Kafka, ...)
- Strong analytical skills, a solution-oriented approach and proactive communication abilities
- Ability to understand complex business processes, IT products and system landscapes
- Willingness to travel to the customers site during the planning phase (not necessary for every project)
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Nice to have: Experience with Fleet Management / AGV usecases and VDA5050
