Job Summary
We are looking for
a detail-oriented and skilled Software Test Automation Engineer with 3 years of
experience in Python-based test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will
be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test
solutions to ensure high software quality.
Key
Responsibilities
Automation Testing
* Design, develop,
and maintain automation frameworks using Python.
* Create and execute automated test scripts.
* Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
Test Design &
Execution
* Analyse
functional and technical requirements to create test designs and test cases.
* Perform manual testing (functional, regression, sanity, smoke) when required.
* Execute test cases and identify, document, and track defects using tools like
JIRA.
Collaboration &
Agile Practices
* Participate in
Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
* Provide timely status updates and test reports
Quality Assurance
Best Practices
* Implement and
follow QA processes, standards, and methodologies
* Ensure high quality, performance, and reliability of applications
* Perform root cause analysis for defects and recommend improvements

Skills Required
- 3 or more years of experience in software test automation
- Any science-related graduate degree
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC
- Knowledge of test case design techniques, including boundary value analysis and equivalence partitioning
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Experience performing manual testing, including sanity and smoke testing
- Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using JIRA or similar tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment
