What You’ll Do:
- Write clean, well-documented, well-tested code as part of a delivery team working on an active client engagement.
- Gain practical experience with modern development stacks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps tools.
- Participate in code reviews and pairing with Consultants, applying feedback to sharpen your engineering craft.
- Help debug, refactor, and document existing systems, and contribute to data models and integrations where the project calls for it.
- Dedicate time to research emerging technologies and best practices relevant to your project, applying your academic knowledge in a professional setting.
What You’ll Bring:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- Foundational programming knowledge in an object-oriented or modern language (Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript), plus a working understanding of data structures, algorithms, and version control (Git).
- Exposure to relational databases and SQL, REST APIs, or cloud services is a plus.
- A strong passion for technology consulting and a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the enthusiasm to ask questions and learn rapidly.
- Ability to work full-time for the duration of the 8-week summer program (6/7-7/30) in a hybrid model based out of one of our hub locations (Nashville or Richmond).

The good-faith base hourly rate for this role is listed below, reflecting the amount UDig is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
