Software Engineer

Teero is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our tech hub in Amsterdam. If you ship fast, build with AI, and want to launch products that transform an entire industry, we want to talk.

The $160B+ dental industry still runs on fax machines and phone tag—we're fixing that. We're an AI-native company building the operating system for modern dental offices, starting with staffing and expanding into revenue cycle management, patient billing, and beyond. Backed by Construct Capital with thousands of offices and hygienists using our platform monthly, we're growing fast across the country—and we're just getting started.

You'll work in-person from our Amsterdam tech hub, reporting directly to our co-founder, Christian. You'll be a product engineer with massive ownership—building, launching, and iterating on entirely new products, not just features. We have no product managers: you'll shape what we build and how we build it, working directly with engineering, design, founders, and customers.

We don't just use AI—it's how we build. Claude Code, Cursor, and whatever comes next aren't nice-to-haves, they're core to how we work. We expect our engineers to stay on the bleeding edge of AI-assisted development, constantly adopting new tools and techniques that let a small team ship at a pace that shouldn't be possible. If you're the kind of engineer who's already rebuilding your workflow every few months because better tools keep dropping, you'll fit right in.

This is an in-person role because the best work happens when brilliant minds collaborate face-to-face—rapid iteration, real-time problem-solving, and the kind of momentum that only comes from working side-by-side.

• Launch and own entire products end-to-end—from zero to live and scaling—not just tickets on a board

• Build across our stack: React, Node.js, React Native, Temporal, PlanetScale, and AWS (TypeScript everywhere)

• Work directly with Christian, Nate, design, and customers to shape product direction

• Push the boundaries of AI-assisted development—we expect you to ship faster this quarter than last because your tools and workflows keep getting better

• Make technical and product decisions that directly impact business growth and customer experience

• Move incredibly fast while maintaining high code quality

• Collaborate cross-functionally across our marketplace and RCM products

• Strong proficiency in full stack development and React—this shouldn't be your first engineering role, but we care more about what you can build than years on a resume

• AI-native: you're already using Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools daily and you'd feel slower without them

• You launch things. You have a track record of shipping products or features from idea to production, not just contributing to existing codebases

• Self-starter who sees problems and fixes them without waiting for permission

• Relentlessly fast: you thrive on shipping quickly and iterating based on real user feedback

• High standards for code quality—fast doesn't mean sloppy

• Comfortable with ambiguity and the pace of a fast-growing startup

• Business-minded: you understand how your technical decisions impact growth and customer experience

• Experience with our specific stack (React Native, Temporal, PlanetScale)

• Startup experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

• Experience working directly with founders or as a product engineer

• Background in marketplace or healthcare tech

• You prefer large, established companies with defined processes and slow release cycles

• You're uncomfortable with ambiguity and rapid change

• You're not excited about wearing multiple hats and doing whatever it takes

• You prefer staying in your lane rather than collaborating directly with customers and design

• You think AI coding tools are a gimmick or a crutch

• You only want remote work—this role is in-person in Amsterdam
