Our teams are based in Woodbridge, NJ and Topeka, KS. We operate in a hybrid environment.

As a mid-level Software Engineer, you will contribute across the full software development lifecycle to build next-generation systems that deliver functional, user-friendly experiences for our clients. You will collaborate with multiple teams, mentor junior staff as needed, and help shape architecture and technical decisions.

What You'll Do

• Architect, build and maintain full-stack software solutions (frontend, backend, database)
• Write clean, testable code following well-defined processes
• Participate in design discussions and own module components
• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve existing codebases
• Develop and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers and QA to deliver robust solutions
• Produce relevant documentation throughout the SDLC
• Keep up with emerging technologies and best practices
• Support proof-of-concept development and evaluate new tools or frameworks
• Mentor junior engineers and guide team practices
• Manage your project priorities, deadlines and deliverables

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
• 3-5 years of experience with Angular/AngularJS (or equivalent), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript; .NET Core; SQL (SQL Server preferred)
• Experience working full-stack, including RESTful Web APIs (ASP.NET Core preferred)
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Octopus, Ansible)
• Familiarity with XML, JSON and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical ability and troubleshooting mindset

Additional Details:

• This is an on-site (hybrid), full-time, salaried position. Our normal hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $115- $138,000.
• At Fusion, our salary ranges are designed to be competitive within our size and industry. Compensation is just one component of a comprehensive total rewards package that also includes benefits, flexibility, and growth opportunities.
• Individual pay decisions are informed by several factors, including location, experience, qualifications, skillset, and internal equity across the organization. While we expect most offers to fall within the stated range, each compensation decision is made thoughtfully, with consideration for both the candidate’s unique profile and our commitment to pay parity.
