Position OverviewAs a Software Engineer, you will join a high-performing agile team supporting secure enterprise systems. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, utilizing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), DEVOPS practices, Behavior Driven Development (BDD), and test automation frameworks. This is a unique opportunity to work on impactful projects while applying your expertise in modern software engineering.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver software development tasks both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Participate in program increment planning and agile team ceremonies.
Analyze and study complex system requirements and translate them into solutions.
Apply software engineering principles to produce reliable, efficient, and reusable code.
Develop, document, and deploy automation scripts in secure environments.
Promote code reuse and collaboration across teams.
Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency with Java
Familiarity with multiple of the following:
Java/JEE, Python, C/C++, SQL
SOAP, WSDL, WADL
PERL, PowerShell, VBS
Eclipse, Postgres, Oracle, Jenkins
Experience with Windows and/or Linux development environments
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices
Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
Experience with JEE, SQL, and application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss)
Agile development practices (Pair Programming, BDD, ATDD, Refactoring)
Test automation tools such as FITNesse, Mockito, Cucumber, UFT, Selenium
Experience with secure software development (e.g., Layer 7 Policy)
Knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and/or SAFe certification
