Are you into streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency? Then we have a perfect role for you! We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join our Internal Automation Service team.

As a member of our Internal Automation Service, you'll play a pivotal role in analyzing, developing, and integrating bespoke automation solutions tailored to the specific needs of different departments within MacPaw.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with different MacPaw teams to identify automation opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust automation tools.
  • Design, build, and implement automation solutions using Airtable and Zapier.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting and incorporating user feedback to refine existing automation processes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and ensure alignment on project objectives.


Skills you'll need to bring:

  • Strong command of TypeScript.
  • Proven proficiency in Node.js (NestJS) and React.
  • Experience with Postgres or another RDBMS.
  • Strong knowledge of web API and principles of inter-service communication.
  • Fast learning of new tools and APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.


As a plus:

  • Familiarity with Airtable and Zapier.
  • Understanding of TypeORM or another ORM framework.
  • Experience with creating custom applications for Slack.
  • Proficiency in Google Apps Scripts.
  • Experience with creating Jira applications using Forge or Connect.
