As Full-Stack Software Engineer II, you'll help to build Akamai's Zero Trust platform into a worldwide leader. You'll be crucial to the development of best-in-class security features. Leveraging your knowledge in Networking/multi-cloud/distributed environments, you'll make a global impact on Enterprises/applications, users and their workloads.
As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Building & enhancing products/services for Next generation Micro segmentation and threat protection solutions
- Leading new features and problem-solving from requirements to delivery and spanning a vast terrain of technologies
- Taking ownership for technical and product innovation, implementing proof of concepts, analyzing systems, and proposing solutions
- Collaborating with software engineering teams in an Agile environment on code review, design process and product development
- Working closely with product management to enhance new releases
- Coordinating deployment strategy and system changes, participating in timeline planning and release schedules
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 2+ years' experience in software development and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or it's equivalent
- Build dynamic, responsive UIs using React, Angular, or Vue with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Redux.
- Develop robust backend services with Node.js, Python, or Java using REST, GraphQL, and WebSocket APIs.
- Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and DynamoDB efficiently.
- Implement secure authentication flows using OAuth and JWT across scalable, well-architected full stack applications.
- Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
