Software Engineer II

Most enterprise AI stops at a chat box. Ask it something real about your business and it has no idea what your company knows, so you paste in context and hope. We are building the layer that fixes that across any model.

Coworker builds a context graph across every system a company runs. Closed frontier models when the work demands it, open US-hosted models when it does not. Same quality of output, roughly 5x the tokens for the same spend. When a better model ships, our customers get it automatically.

We need a talented, ambitious, hard-working senior software engineer with 4+ years of experience who can help us build the foundation for the next era of work. We need someone who wants to change how the world works, one company at a time.

You are that person.

You are a hungry full stack software developer who is capable of thought leadership and high-quality code output, but who is also obsessed with making customers happy, and will do whatever it takes to make it happen. You are also autonomous and happy to take on big, ambiguous problems as one of the first engineers at a fast-growing startup.

You’re willing to work nights and weekends if needed to get key projects over the line. But you (like us!) are more than your code and your hard work! You love building a culture where people love to work but believe in putting people first while having a huge amount of fun while you do your job.

You will be given substantial amounts of tokens to accomplish your job. We're looking for people who are willing to explore and maximize the value of those tokens.

• Rapidly build, ship, and test new applications on top of our AI platform to compete with and 10x existing SaaS tools

• Get your hands dirty deep in the AI systems, as well as writing traditional application code

• Guide the early Coworker technical architecture decisions that will resonate throughout the global economy for years to come

• Establish the Coworker engineering culture–live the mission and set a standard

• Drive key business metrics

• Have an inordinate amount of fun

• Push the frontier of what’s possible with Enterprise AI

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree (Computer Science preferred)

• 2-4+ years of professional development experience

• Experience and desire to own new products from zero to one, from system design to implementation to deployment

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience and comfort using AI aggressively to improve velocity with looping, reinforcement learning, and agents (nice to have)

• Excitement, ambition, and fun

• Any languages are fine, we primarily use Go Lang, Typescript, and Python
