Software Engineer - II (SDE 2)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our Chennai-based team. This role involves contributing to the development of cutting-edge generative AI applications and systems, integrating advanced machine learning models, and ensuring high standards in design, implementation, and deployment. As an SDE, you will also play a key role in mentoring team members and optimizing application performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1.       Problem Solving and Design:

•   Analyze and address complex challenges in generative AI and application development.

•   Propose and implement scalable, efficient solutions tailored to real-world use cases.

2.       Software Development and Integration:

•   Develop, test, and maintain front-end and back-end components for generative AI applications.

•   Implement and manage APIs to integrate AI models into web platforms.

•   Debug and resolve application issues, ensuring smooth operation and integration.

3.       Generative AI Development:

•   Integrate pre-trained models, including large language models (LLMs).

•   Optimize AI solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.

•   Experiment with new generative AI frameworks and technologies to enhance application capabilities.

4.       Operational Excellence:

•   Maintain high standards of performance, security, and scalability in design and implementation.

•   Monitor and troubleshoot system performance to ensure reliability.

•   Document technical workflows and ensure team adherence to operational guidelines.

5.       Team Collaboration and Mentorship:

•   Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, Developers, and designers, to deliver high-quality solutions.

•   Mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.

•   Participate in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and team discussions.

6.       Continuous Learning and Innovation:

•   Stay updated on the latest trends in generative AI, cloud platforms, and full-stack development.

•   Experiment with new tools and frameworks to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

•   Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.

Technical Skills:

•   Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ReactJS or AngularJS)

•   Proficiency in back-end technologies: Python, FastAPI

•   Strong understanding of databases: SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).

•   Cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, Azure

•   Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

•   Generative AI frameworks (Good to have): LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI
