Looking for someone to join us as an early member of the Android team. This means participating in all design and product decisions of the early days of a product centric company.
In the initial months, you'll be working closely with the founding team, gradually taking ownership of central components and features. Given our early stage, we're seeking versatile engineers comfortable contributing to various aspects of the company's foundation.

Being at the forefront of delivering unique and high-quality UI features in a fast-paced environment. We encourage pushing the boundaries of what's possible, and your expertise in low-level APIs, shader creation for dynamic effects, and custom rendering systems will be invaluable.
Platform DevelopmentActively participating in creating and enhancing the platform. This includes participating in writing careful abstractions that other Android team members also use, such as Media encoding, decoding and playback; libraries that incorporate performance tracing along with associated internal tooling; Our own components for dealing with Navigation and Deeplinks across apps etc. - you are not just working on your feature, you’ll be working on ‘cross-company components’.
Roadmap Creation and IdeationContributing in the roadmap creation and ideation process. Your experience will be essential in identifying tradeoffs and bringing valuable ideas from both product and engineering perspectives.
Knowledge SharingWe value continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Your active participation in staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices, attending conferences, engaging in online communities, and sharing your insights internally will contribute to our collective growth.
Owning your scopeYou will be responsible for monitoring analytics and managing system crashes. We value engineers who take ownership of their scope, and proactively address issues and triage bug fixes.
Your Skills & Experience
We are hiring multiple engineers of varying levels, so please indicate your years of experience on the application form to apply for the appropriate position.
Professional experience in native Android development using Kotlin or Java.
Good understanding of computer systems fundamentals (Program execution, Linking, Multithreading, Memory Management, Processes and File Systems etc.).
Professional experience in low-level languages like C or C++ is a significant advantage!
Passion and experience building consumer-facing products - we’d love to hear about apps you've made!
Working on platform - experience building SDK’s/Libraries (building for others).
You don’t need to speak French to apply (and you don’t need to speak perfect English either, we'll help you to ramp up quickly if needed).
To ensure that everyone is set up for success within our way of working, we work together onsite 5 days a week.
