The Opportunity

As our Social Media Manager, you will own Tiny Health's social presence end to end — strategy, platform-native content, community, and creator partnerships across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and whatever comes next. You will build the content engine and community practice that turns social into one of our most powerful growth channels: giving each platform a clear role in the customer journey. You’ll turn our company goals into platform-native content, and turning trend and cultural fluency into real-time engagement people actually notice.

You will start hands-on across strategy, content, and community, and grow it into a proactive, always-on practice, participating in trends in real time trends, and standing up channels we haven't tapped yet. Over time, you will make Tiny Health's social presence the most trusted, recognizable voice in microbiome education as we expand beyond mom/baby audiences into adult gut health and longevity.

What You’ll Do
  • Channel Strategy & Content: Assign each platform a distinct role in the customer journey (awareness, consideration, conversion), and defend why a specific piece of content belongs on one platform over another. Translate company priorities into platform-native formats across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.

  • Trend & Cultural Fluency: Spot an emerging platform trend before it peaks and ship platform-native content off it within days, not weeks. Understand not just what's trending but why, and use that to make content and platform decisions that hold up.

  • Content Production: Put out native pieces across priority channels and create a repeatable scalable content engine.

  • Real-Time Engagement & Brand Voice: Personally model best-in-class real-time engagement: on-brand, fast, human, and culturally aware. Adapt messaging to different audiences and platforms while maintaining a strong, consistent brand voice.

  • Data & Performance Analytics: Track engagement rate, follower growth, website sessions, and email signups sourced from social. Interpret performance data, identify patterns, and use testing and experimentation to improve results and tie the work to business outcomes.

  • Community & Creator Engagement: Maintain community response times and proactively engage inbound and outbound and source new creator/partner relationships that result in published content or amplification

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with affiliate marketing, design, creators, and other internal stakeholders to execute high-quality content and campaigns.

QualificationsRequired
  • 3–5+ years owning social media strategy and execution across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, or similar)

  • A track record of measurable channel growth — engagement rate, follower growth, website traffic, or social-attributed conversion

  • Experience building creator or influencer relationships proactively sourced through outbound engagement, not just inbound or paid

  • Strong analytical instincts — able to interpret performance data, draw actionable insights, and run structured tests to improve results

  • Excellent written communication, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging across audiences and platforms while holding a consistent brand voice

  • Comfortable operating in real time: trend participation, community management, and live engagement without waiting on approvals

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred
  • Experience in DTC/e-commerce or consumer health and wellness

  • Treats AI as a core part of your content and workflow process, not a gimmick

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Experience working remotely, with proficiency in Slack

How we work
  • A mission that actually pulls people in
We make the microbiome measurable and actionable at every life stage, and real people write in to say it's life-changing.

  • Remote-first, real overlap
Our FTEs are based in North America and work core hours from 9am–6pm CST, shiftable by up to two hours either way — start at 7am or 11am, wrap at 4pm or 8pm.

  • Written first, huddle second, meet last
Default to a clear Slack post, huddle when a thread stalls, and meet only to make a real decision.

  • Fast, but never sloppy
Do the two-month thing in two weeks, then check the work—shipping errors is rework, not speed.

  • Shape what we build, not just how we build it
There's no playbook waiting for you, so write it—and bring the alternative, not just the objection.

  • Day One mentality
Fewer titles and layers; process is a guardrail where it counts, never the reason something didn't ship.

  • No hidden agendas
Numbers, misses, and feedback are shared openly and in real time, so you always know where you stand.

  • High standards, genuinely fun people
Take the work seriously and ourselves much less—high-performing and fun to be around is the hiring bar.

  • Is this pace for you?
Venture-scaled and on a steep trajectory, with intensity in spikes, fiercely protected flexibility, and faster growth than anywhere else.

Our Values
  1. Learn Fast, Get Better - Find the root cause, not just the fix, and get better every time

  2. Be Relentlessly Resourceful - Dig for the answer, move fast, and know when to ask for help

  3. Act Like an Owner, Be Hungry to Win - Act like it’s your company, and do whatever it takes to win

  4. Act with Honesty and Empathy - Say what’s true, and say it with care

  5. Delight People by Anticipating Their Needs - Solve the problem, then get two steps ahead of it

What We Do

Tiny Health is the first science-based platform that profiles a mother and baby's microbiomes in the first 1,000 days that is a critical window for the infant's lifelong health. Unfortunately, certain diets, lifestyles and medical interventions (while life-saving) have unintended consequences by disrupting the natural colonization of an infant's gut microbiome in early life. This potentially contributes to chronic diseases such as eczema, food allergies, asthma, type I diabetes, and obesity later in life, which affects hundreds of millions of people globally. Using at-home test kits, next generation sequencing, a proprietary knowledge base, and AI technology, we provide key insights during this critical period when the microbiome is developing rapidly and highlight risk factors linked to microbial imbalances. We generate personalized, actionable recommendations, and early interventions to hopefully prevent health issues linked to infant gut development and give the child the best possible start in life.
