What You Will Be Serving Up:

The Development Strategy Senior Analyst partners with KFC Development teams to shape and drive the brand’s growth agenda. The role combines development reporting and forecasting, project leadership on KFC’s growth initiatives, and the creation of executive-level materials that bring the KFC growth story to life for the KFC Global Leadership Team, the Yum! Board of Directors, Investor Relations, and the brand’s largest global forums.

Responsibilities

Here's How You Will Spice Things Up:

Reporting and Forecasting

  • Manage the development reporting and forecasting process, including consolidating market submissions, analyzing performance and trends, identifying risks and opportunities, and producing accurate forecasts against annual targets and long-term growth ambitions.
  • Create and maintain a core suite of standardized reports, dashboards, and analytics to enhance team productivity, accelerate decision-making, improve forecasting, and generate actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to assess new restaurant growth, reinvestment activity, and sales and investment performance. Deliver meaningful and concise insights to the Global Development Team and KFC Global Leadership Team.

Executive Communication and Storytelling

  • Build executive-level presentations and narratives that translate development performance and strategy into a clear, compelling story — including materials for the KFC Global Leadership Team, the Yum! Board of Directors, and Investor Relations.
  • Support content development for KFC’s global forums, including the Chief Development Officer (CDO) Conference, Development Summit (DevSum), and other Global Summits, potentially partnering cross-functionally to source inputs and land a consistent, high-impact message.

Strategic Initiatives

  • Drive the governance and execution of KFC’s Development initiatives — including containerized restaurants, modern restaurant formats, and other new-build and reinvestment innovations — by maintaining clear visibility into project progress, milestones, risks, and actions; coordinating regular leadership reviews; and proactively engaging project owners to ensure accountability and timely delivery.
  • Partner with the data team and market development teams to ensure strong global development data foundations, leading prioritization, governance, and clean-up initiatives, and maintaining Asset Information System (AIS) as the single source of truth for critical development data.
  • Support project tracking across the Global Development portfolio, including key milestones and progress.

Other Development Support

  • Support the KFC Global Leadership Team and broader teams, as needed, with planning, business reviews, ad hoc projects, and related financial and administrative activities.
