This position is responsible for technical engineering, architecture and support for the CA Layer 7 technology platform. This includes defining the integration architecture and patterns and the successful design, development of API Management platform and solutions for enterprise. Provide best fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; provide technology consultation; assist in defining scope and sizing of work; implement the solutions; create technology differentiation; leverage partner technologies; participate in competency development with the objective of ensuring best fit and high quality technical solution and creating thought leadership within the area of technology specialization.
Required:
Should have a CS, Engineering or equivalent degree/experience
Experience in SOA (Service oriented Architecture) and API Management
Proficiency in web-services and web API related technologies (SOAP / REST, WSDL, XML, JSON) and experience as a solution architect in implementing an enterprise API Management platform is required
Experience with CA's Layer 7 API Management Gateway is required including the implementation of the Developer Portal, and Oauth functionality
5 + years of professional work experience as part of an enterprise software company or systems integrator
Strong knowledge in working with Web services and API technologies (REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, XSLT)
Strong knowledge on securing the web APIs data-integrity/confidentiality, basic auth and OAuth 2.0
Working experience and knowledge of API Gateway product Layer 7
Knowledge of API Management concepts & fundamentals
Ability to quickly grasp and learn new technologies and develop POC/prototypes
Experience with Databases (MS SQL and MySQL)
Experience with Linux/RHEL OS
Good communication skills and extensive experience working with technical teams and management

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years professional experience in enterprise software or systems integration

- Experience implementing enterprise API Management platforms as a solution architect
- Working experience with CA Layer 7 API Management Gateway, Developer Portal, and OAuth functionality

- Experience with XSLT for web services transformations
- Experience with databases: MS SQL and MySQL
- Experience with Linux/RHEL operating systems
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and develop POCs/prototypes
- Good communication skills and experience collaborating with technical teams and management
- Must be US Citizen, Green Card holder, or have GC EAD
