The Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Advanced Computing provides technical expertise and analytical support in advanced computing technologies and emerging computational systems. The role supports technical assessments, strategic analysis, and executive-level communications regarding advanced computing capabilities and applications.
Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise in advanced computing technologies and architectures.
- Analyze and assess advanced computing systems and emerging technologies.
- Support evaluations involving high-performance computing, quantum computing, and advanced microelectronics.
- Develop technical reports, white papers, assessments, and executive briefings.
- Translate complex technical concepts into understandable materials for senior leadership audiences.
- Support strategic technology planning and innovation initiatives.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced computing systems and technologies.
- Experience with high-performance computing, quantum computing, advanced microelectronics, or related disciplines.
- Experience developing technical and analytical written products for executive audiences.
- Strong research, analytical, and technical communication skills.

- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
- Experience evaluating emerging technology trends and mission impacts.
