Job Description:
Position Overview:
· Establish and standardize architecture and governance for the SFDC Platform
· Establish technology standards, security standards, change management processes etc.
· Design, develop, and articulate solutions based on a strategic business or technical requirements.
· Regular interface with development teams, solution and application architects, Shared Services organizations and product vendors.
Key experiences and attributes:
· Progressive leadership in the full life cycle of the software development environment.
· Ability to provide broad and deep technical leadership and cohesive architecture approaches for strategic efforts.
· Prior experience in establishing a salesforce.com Center of Excellence with emphasis on Governance, setting of Multi-Org rollout strategy, and Release and Change Management Processes
· Technical depth in customer facing systems from an application, infrastructure, operations, scalability, availability, performance, people, process, and tooling perspective.
· Work closely with delivery teams to define technical development guidelines and security guidelines for Salesforce based applications.
· Provide guidance on master data management associated with Salesforce, including data capture, warehousing, storing, cleansing and security
· Good understanding of Application Integration, mediation infrastructure, and connectivity architecture
· Develop change and release management guidelines for the Salesforce application
· Ability to explain complex technology decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in the organization
· Minimum of 3 years of Salesforce.com (SFDC) systems implementation experience, Salesforce.com (Technical or Platform Developer Certifications desired)
· Technical Architect experience on implementation projects
· Force.com platform experience, including the limitation of the platform (e.g. API and governor limits)
· Experience with various capabilities offered by the platform including Workflow, Chatter, Knowledge etc.
· Data Migration, SSO and web services experience involving Salesforce platform
· Integrating Salesforce.com with 3rd party solutions
